AdNews wraps up the biggest pitch news and wins from the fortnight.
Omnicom wins Intersnack's Australian media account
European snack manufacturer Intersnack Group has awarded Omnicom Media Group its Australian media agency, following a global review, AdNews can reveal.
As of January 1, OMG will handle the company's Australian business, while PHD, also part of Omnicom, was appointed in September as its global agency of record for all other markets.
The remit covers cross-screen media planning and buying, performance marketing and shoppable media.
Publicis was the incumbent and the pitch process, run by Independent Media Guides (IMEDIAG), took eight months.
Publicis takes Aldi media account
Publicis Groupe has been appointed global media agency for ALDI. The supermarket group spends more than $900 million year on advertising.
ALDI confirmed to AdNews that Publicis has been appointed “first joint media partner” start January 1.
The agency will manage media investments across all seven ALDI Nord markets as well as all eleven ALDI South markets
IPG takes bayer creative and media accounts
Bayer’s Consumer Health division has named Interpublic Group (IPG) global agency partner across creative, production and media, consolidating marketing for brands including Aspirin, Bepanthen, Claritin and Canesten.
The appointment, which covers all markets, will see IPG lead an integrated model designed to streamline Bayer’s global brand efforts while allowing for local market nuance.
IPG took the account from WPP's EssenceMediacom, which help the account since 2021.
The new model is built on a flexible structure designed to combine global scale with local responsiveness, including the use of GenAI to drive more personalised content and media delivery.
WPP Media has won the Suncorp media account, developing a new bespoke agency model called Open Era to service the insurer’s broad portfolio of brands.
The appointment is effective March 1 and follows a competitive pitch process.
Maria Grivas will lead the account, tasked with bringing together strategists, technologists and client leads from across WPP Media to support Suncorp’s group of brands, which includes AAMI, Apia, Bingle, CIL Insurance, GIO, Essentials by AAI, Shannons, Suncorp Insurance and Terri Scheer.
Suncorp’s executive general manager, brand and customer experience, Mim Haysom, said the group was looking forward to working with WPP Media and thanked incumbent agency, OMD.
This is Flow wins Australian Health Vitality account
Independent media agency This is Flow has been appointed by Australian Health Vitality to manage media planning and buying across its portfolio of health and wellness brands.
AHV's stable includes Life Botanics, HairCareBear, Iso Whey, Celebrity Slim and Wheyless.
The account spans both brand and e-commerce media, with Flow tasked with driving growth and connecting AHV brands with health-conscious consumers across the country.
Activity is already live across influencers and performance digital channels with brand to follow.
Audience Group wins Crystalbrook pitch
Sustainable hospitality brand Crystalbrook Collection has appointed Audience Group to lead its paid media strategy following a competitive pitch.
The move sees the independent agency take on full-funnel media responsibilities across Crystalbrook’s portfolio of eight hotels and resorts, 16 restaurants and bars, three Eléme Day Spas and a marina.
Two new hotels are in development.
Audience Group will handle media strategy and performance, with an emphasis on first-party data, algorithmic decision-making, AI-driven automation and dynamic budget allocation.
Motion Sickness wins Shine Lawyers' global creative pitch
Motion Sickness has been appointed global creative and brand partner for Shine Lawyers, following a competitive pitch.
The Auckland-based agency will lead creative strategy across Shine’s markets, continuing its push into Australia.
Motion Sickness general manager Alex McManus said the agency was drawn to Shine’s ambitions and willingness to go beyond traditional work.
The win adds to a strong run for Motion Sickness in 2025, following international recognition for its work, including two Cannes Lions Grand Prix earlier this year.
Shine Lawyers is the latest addition to Motion Sickness’ expanding client list, which includes Ora and Les Mills International.
cummins&partners takes Snackbrands account
Snackbrands has appointed cummins&partners its creative agency to handle brand strategy, campaign development, social media and production across its portfolio including Kettle, CC's, Cheezels and Thins.

Experience management company Qualtrics has selected ROI·DNA, a Hotwire Global company, part of ASX-listed Enero, as its global digital advertising partner.
ROI·DNA will lead paid media strategy and execution across global and local markets to help Qualtrics accelerate growth and deepen engagement with key audiences.
Qualtrics chose ROI·DNA following a competitive process, citing strong team chemistry and the agency's ability to deliver impact at both global and local scale, as well as its tech-forward approach including proprietary AI tools.
The partnership will focus on driving measurable outcomes through integrated digital campaigns across paid search, social and programmatic channels.
Fourteen10 wins Carma creative pitch
Used car platform Carma has appointed Fourteen10 to lead its media strategy, planning and buying, with a mandate to build brand salience and trust while tightening the link to performance.
Following a competitive process, Fourteen10 was selected for its marketing-science approach and ability to connect demand creation and demand capture into a single operating system.
A near-term focus will be to amplify Carma's five-star customer experience, driving awareness and consideration across a diverse set of above-the-line touchpoints.
Fourteen10 is an independent media agency founded by Duncan Allan and Cameron Roberts.
