Foxtel's Martin Medcraf calls its quits after 24 years

The sales and brand partnerships director started at what was then MCN in 2001 as national sport sales director.

Teads new leadership structure

Advertising platform Teads, acquired by Outbrain in February, has announced a new leadership structure for Asia-Pacific, including a managing director for Australia. Sam Pattison has been appointed managing director, APAC.  Supporting him: Eve Solomon – VP, Publisher Business Development , APAC; Emmanuel Fischmeister- SVP Business Development, APAC; Remi Lafon – MD, ANZ; Tarun Ummat – MD, India; Christopher Maksymuk –MD, North Asia; Yuki Imamura –MD, North-East Asia.   

Sarah McGregor appointed executive creative director at AKQA

Sarah McGregor has held senior creative roles at agencies including Dentsu Creative, Leo Burnett, cummins&partners, Karmarama, Y&R, and Grey London.

Publicis Sapient appoints data and AI lead for Australia

Gavin Seewooruttun, based in Melbourne, will help organisations harness the power of AI and data to transform customer experiences, create new revenue streams and drive operational excellence.  

New hipages CMO

Jeff Lim has been appointed CMO of hipages, the online service to find trades. He most recently served as chief marketing and customer officer at Survive and before that he was at Open Colleges as chief marketing and customer officer.

Audience Group appoints Aimee Gossage head of investment

The newly created role will see Gossage lead the agency’s media buying operations, with a focus on strengthening vendor relationships and driving improved commercial outcomes for clients through strategic investment.

OMD’s Peita Pacey makes the leap to Hearts & Science

Pacey joins from OMD Sydney, where she spent the past two years as head of behaviour change. She previously served as head of strategy at the agency, and has been with Omnicom Media Group for eight years.

Sarah Proudfoot appointed CEO of ACCC

Proudfoot started with the ACCC in 2005 when she joined the agency’s Infocentre. She was appointed executive general manager of the ACCC’s National Anti-Scam Centre in August 2024 and has been acting chief executive since February 2025.

Vevo senior sales promotions

Vevo has promoted Tim O’Connor to head of sales APAC, Blair Kelly group sales manager ANZ and Alex Trumble senior sales manager.

Katie Rigg-Smith leaves WPP

Rigg-Smith will take time off from May to pursue her interest as a futurist, providing clients and industry sectors with social and strategic foresights.
