Mark Read goes from WPP

Mark Read, the chief executive of WPP, is stepping down from what was once the world's largest, and is still the UK's, advertising company. He’s been with the advertising group for more than 30 years.

WeAre8's Danika Johnston to head commercial partnerships at the Guardian

The Guardian has appointed Danika Johnston director of commercial partnerships for Australia and New Zealand. She will oversee the sales, operations, branded content and insights teams.

Enigma reunites creative duo Aldo Ferretto and Simon Lee

Independent creative and media agency Enigma has appointed Aldo Ferretto creative director and head of art, reuniting an award-winning creative partnership with chief creative officer Simon Lee.  

Adam Sadler appointed BrandSpace head of media sales

Scentre Group's BrandSpace has appointed Adam Sadler head of media sales for Australia. He brings more than 15 years of senior commercial leadership experience. 

Match & Wood hires data scientist Simon Crouch

Independent media agency Match & Wood has appointed Simon Crouch to the newly created role of data scientist. He joins with more than 12 years of experience in business intelligence.

Yango appoints Amy Carr general manager of growth

Yango has appointed Amy Carr to the newly created role of general manager of growth. She will lead the agency’s new business efforts and oversee its market positioning to drive further growth. 

BMF’s Lincoln Grice joins Bear Meets Eagle On Fire

Lincoln Grice has joined Bear Meets Eagle On Fire as design lead after 12 years with BMF. He was head of art and design at BMF where his work included ALDI and Tourism Tasmania.

Mark Lollback to launch retail media at Metcash 

Metcash, the parent company of IGA supermarkets, has appointed Mark Lollback to lead the rollout of the company’s new retail media network, LocalEyes. 

Matt Houltham is the new CEO of Starcom

Publicis Groupe ANZ has appointed Matt Houltham CEO of Starcom Australia. He replaces Nick Keenan who exited late last year. 

Youngbloods NSW new co-chairs

Youngbloods NSW has appointed M+C Saatchi art director Jake Rowland and Dentsu Creative senior account manager Ruby Tonkin co-chairs. The duo has worked under the guidance of outgoing co-chairs Charlotte Berry and Caitie Hall.
