Independent media agency Yango has appointed Amy Carr to the newly created role of general manager of growth.

Carr will lead the agency’s new business efforts and oversee its market positioning to drive further growth.

“As a business that has been quietly delivering exceptional results for its clients, I'm eager to introduce Yango’s innovative solutions to a wider audience,” said Carr.

She joins with over 15 years’ experience in media and leadership, most recently as head of client collaboration and group business director at Foundation Australia, part of the Omnicom network, where she managed the Diageo account.

Carr also held senior roles at PHD and Publicis Groupe, leading client work for brands including PepsiCo, Google, Daikin, Kenvue and Bayer.

Her appointment follows a period of growth for Yango, which recently expanded its service offering to include SEO and content, communications and creator strategy, and cross-channel media planning and buying.

“Amy is a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Australian media landscape,” said Yango managing partner, Nick Murdoch.

“Her client-centric approach and ability to build strong relationships will be instrumental in uncovering new business opportunities and fostering long-lasting partnerships.”
