It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

VML creative director Kieran Moroney exits

VML creative director Kieran Moroney is leaving after seven years. Moroney was poached for senior vice president and group creative director role at McCann Health New York. He leaves with more than 200 awards from all major international shows, including D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Clios, New York Festivals, London International Awards and WARC Awards for Effectiveness.

BMF's Aisling Colley appointed managing partner Ogilvy Sydney

Ogilvy Sydney has appointed Aisling Colley managing partner. Colley joins from BMF where she led the ALDI Supermarkets account, during which time it became one of the most effective and creative brands in Australia. She also brings extensive experience across the QSR, sport, FMCG and tourism sectors, with a strong focus across large retailers. 

Akkomplice appoints Linda Monique GM

Melbourne independent agency Akkomplice has appointed Linda Monique to the role of general manager. Monique comes to the role not from the typical agency pathway but with a varied background in commercial enterprise that includes founding (and recently selling) Australia’s first almond milk company, the multi-award winning Almo Milk.

Foxcatcher appoints Alex Cook to new sales director role

RyanCap's data and technology specialist Foxcatcher has appointed Alex Cook to the newly created role of sales director. Cook joins from Digital Remedy, where he was the sales director and previously at Amobee and Big Mobile. Alex will be responsible for positioning Foxcatcher's' programmatic and proprietary product suite in the market while driving growth and new business development across clients and partners.

It’s Friday appoints Heather Sheen head of strategy

Independent creative agency It’s Friday has appointed Heather Sheen head of strategy. Most recently, Sheen was head of strategy at R/GA Australia, and before that planning partner at DDB Sydney. With more than two decades’ industry experience, Sheen has led the strategic thinking on brands including: Westpac, Transport for NSW, Amazon, Coca-Cola, and Nestlé.

Tessa Ogle named Are Media's digital managing editor of fashion and beauty

Are Media has appointed of Tessa Ogle digital managing editor of fashion and beauty, effective as of next Monday. Reporting to Are Media’s GM of fashion and beauty, Nicky Briger, Ogle will be responsible for driving the digital success of fashion and beauty brands ELLE, marie claire and Girlfriend. Ogle joins Are Media from Harper’s BAZAAR and Esquire.

Richards Rose bolsters leadership with returning talent

Independent creative agency Richards Rose has added two new senior hires in Joseph Smeaton as head of strategy and Alex Stainton as executive creative director. Both Smeaton and Stainton return to the agency after being away for nearly a decade, growing their skills and craft at renowned companies in Australia and the U.S.

Jaywing appoints Lily Hopkinson first head of planning

Data, creative and performance marketing agency Jaywing has appointed Lily Hopkinson head of planning, a newly created role to reflect the ongoing evolution of performance media. Hopkinson joins Jaywing after more than seven years at performance marketing and media agency, Direct Response Media, where she started out as a media planner buyer before rising to become general manager.

Spotify's Peter Manten becomes Asia Pacific MD for Vudoo

Vudoo, the content commerce and in-stream checkout company, has appointed Peter Manten as its new MD for the Asia Pacific region. Manten, who has more than 20 years’ experience in media management and senior sales roles, will be responsible for developing and executing Vudoo's APAC business strategies for market growth and building and managing relationships with key stakeholders. He previously led Spotify Australia and New Zealand as regional head of sales. 

Wavemaker promotes Brooke Major to Mitsubishi client lead role

GroupM agency Wavemaker has promoted Brooke Major to client lead Mitsubishi Motors, tasked with driving the execution growth for the automotive brand. Major will oversee Wavemaker’s continued stewardship of the Mitsubishi brand as the agency seeks to unlock new sources of growth through data, harnessing the benefits of GroupM’s wider data and tech capability.

Havas Host's senior hires from the UK

Havas Host has hired Kelly Larken as group account director and Mike Alhadeff planning director. Both come directly from roles in the UK, with Larken most recently working as group account director and business director for Anomaly London, where she led the Coca-Cola and Unilever Masterbrand accounts, and Alhadeff from AMV BBDO London where he was senior strategist.
