Spotify's Peter Manten becomes Asia Pacific MD for Vudoo

Vudoo, the content commerce and in-stream checkout company, has appointed Peter Manten as its new MD for the Asia Pacific region.

Manten, who has more than 20 years’ experience in media management and senior sales roles, will be responsible for developing and executing Vudoo's APAC business strategies for market growth and building and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

He previously led Spotify Australia and New Zealand as regional head of sales. He also served as digital strategy & commercial director ANZ for Bauer Media, national head of digital sales at Network 10 and head of interactive sales at ITV UK.

Vudoo CEO Nick Morgan said Manten’s wide experience made him ideal for the role at a time when Vudoo was expanding its footprint.

"We chose Peter for this role because his unique balance of experience in traditional publishing and big tech gives us the insights we need to serve our customers and provide incrementally better solutions," he said.

"His proven commercial leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and expand into new markets. Peter will focus on ensuring that Vudoo continues to provide excellent customer service and support to our existing customers in ANZ, while also expanding its reach and impact to new customers in Southeast Asia." 

Manten said he’s looking forward to bringing his passion for video and interactivity to the Vudoo team.
