It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Danny Bass to lead dentsu's media portfolio across ANZ
Dentsu International today announced the appointment of Danny Bass as CEO of its media portfolio across the ANZ market, overseeing the strategic direction and growth of the Carat, iProspect, and dentsu X brands.

Jill Hale appointed strategy director at FutureBrand Australia
FutureBrand Australia appoints Jill Hale to the newly-created role of strategy director. Hale joins FutureBrand from The Contenders where she was a senior strategist. Prior to that, Hale was an independent consultant with Ginger and chief customer officer with Brande.

Clemenger BBDO appoints chief strategy officer and chief brand officer
Clemenger BBDO has appointed Jacqueline Witts as chief strategy officer to lead the strategic planning function across Melbourne and Sydney and Paul Rees-Jones to the newly-created role of chief brand officer, which will also cover both offices.

Fyllo appoints Robert Woolfrey managing director for APAC
Robert Woolfrey has been appointed managing director of APAC for Fyllo, a platform for data-driven marketing and regulatory solutions. Woolfrey will open and lead the company’s business in the region and report to Jeff Ragovin, Fyllo’s chief commercial officer.

Cartology hires Google’s Robbie Hills
Cartology has appointed Robbie Hills director - sales and client partnerships to lead the business’ commercial function.
Robbie Hills joins Cartology following over 11 years at Google, most recently in the role of director, global clients, working with global advertisers to develop their existing customer journey, digital architecture and data landscapes.

Emotive hires six
Creative agency Emotive has announced six new hires across brand experience, account management, design, creative and production. Rebecca Gelao joins as head of brand experience and brings a wealth of knowledge having produced brand activations for Facebook, Instagram, Seven West Media and Dropbox. Joining Emotive’s account management team is Liam Walker as senior account director and Robyn Claffey as account director. Sophia Del has been hired as senior producer, joining from 303 MullenLowe with 8 years of production expertise covering both integrated and line producing.
And on the creative side are two additions, Chris Cooper as senior designer and Will Bentley-Hawkins as copywriter.

Dentsu QLD makes three senior appointments
Dentsu QLD has made three strategic senior hires, following recently signing on Amazonia and The Brisbane Heat.
Daniel Paull joins as business intelligence lead at iProspect, Kelly Jack is appointed as client partner at Carat, and Jeremy Thomas joins as digital strategist in customer experience at Merkle.

Vanessa Lawrence moves to adtech Linkby in New York
Pedestrian publisher Vanessa Lawrence is moving to New York to be chief content officer at Adtech platform Linkby.
She will be responsible for all publisher-focused outcomes, including engagement, revenue, product usage and performance, and community-building across Linkby’s global publishing network.

VMLY&R appoints Johan Borg regional chief growth officer
VMLY&R has appointed Johan Borg as chief growth officer across Australia and New Zealand.
Borg will lead the agency’s growth strategy across the region, streamlining the new business process, connecting future client partners with experts in the agency, as well as with industry stakeholders.

IPG’s Kinesso/Matterkind's new leadership team
Kinesso, IPG’s connected intelligence company, has promoted Clay Gill to CEO of Kinesso Australia, but will retain his Matterkind leadership role while adding responsibility for Kinesso Australia’s data and technology solutions.

Publicis chief creative officer Jason Williams moves to a regional role
Creative leader Jason Williams is stepping into a newly created regional role as head of creative excellence at Publicis Groupe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APAC & MEA). He will report to Natalie Lam, chief creative officer at Publicis Groupe, APAC & MEA.
