Nothing can come between the love of a father and daughter... Or can it?

McDonald’s is dialling up its emotional advertising with an ad that showcases the special relationship between a father and daughter, in promotion of its Create Your Taste menu.

In the 90-second ad we see the milestones fathers face as their child grows up, from tea parties to the their first big fight.

McDonald's isn't the first fast food outlet to use relationships as a centrepiece. Earlier this year KFC released a spot following the story of a tradie and his dog.
