Thinkerbell has been appointed as the strategic, creative and PR agency for RCL Cruises, following a competitive pitch process led by EnthDegree.

The agency's remit includes marketing strategy and creative for Royal Caribbean International as well as public relations responsibilities for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara.

Kathryn Valk, director of marketing and PR at RCL Cruises says the business is hoping to attract more Australians on its cruises.

“Our brands share a common passion for thoughtful innovation, inspiring us to go beyond what’s possible for our guests," Kathryn Valk, director of marketing and PR at RCL Cruises says.

"The Thinkerbell team has that same creative spirit, beautifully grounded in strong strategic marketing insight, and just as importantly, are the kind of passionate people we want to work with.”

Margie Reid, managing partner of Thinkerbell says the appointment is great for the Sydney team.

“We are thrilled to be working with Royal Caribbean across strategy, creative and PR. We look forward to building on the momentum the brands already have in this market."

Based in Miami, Florida, United States, RCL Cruises is the largest cruise line in the world and operates an international fleet that includes four of the largest ships in the world. Australia boasts the highest market penetration for cruising of any country.

Thinkerbell has won a string of new clients this year including Journey Beyond, 13cabs and Seafolly.
