Thinkerbell wins media and creative account for Journey Beyond

Thinkerbell has been appointed as the media and creative agency for experiential tourism business Journey Beyond following an extensive and competitive pitch. 

Australian-owned Journey Beyond offers "unique and iconic" experiences to life, such as the Ghan, the Indian Pacific, The Great Southern and Cruise Whitsundays.

“We are excited to partner with Thinkerbell. Their integrated approach is going to help drive us forward during an important growth phase for the Journey Beyond business," Journey Beyond general manager, marketing Carly Hocking says.

Journey Beyond and Thinkerbell will continue to work with key partners in Adelaide where Journey Beyond is located.

“We couldn’t be prouder to work with Journey Beyond and their iconic assets. We are looking forward to bringing measured magic to their business," Thinkerbell co-founder and chief thinker Adam Ferrier says.

"The appointment is further proof that the market wants more transparent and integrated solutions.”

The new account follows on from Thinkerbell's announcement last year that it would also pitch for media accounts, as former OMD managing director Margie Reid joined the team.

It went on to win Bega media planning and buying from Carat, moving the account away from the incumbent for the first time in 10 years.

The Journey Beyond appointment takes effect this month.
