Do you wear skinny jeans and a stripy to the office everyday? A white T-shirt with a suit jacket? Is flannel one of your staples? Do you have a well kept beard?

Well then there's a high chance you work in a media agency. But what role are you destined to play in your team?

Are you a Digital Guru and your actually destined to be a Social Media Expert? Or you've always seen yourself as a Disruption Prophet but you're actually better suited as an Implementation Evangelist?

Maybe, just, maybe, you're destined to be CEO but just don't know it yet.

Take the quiz here – you get points for completing the quiz that go towards the Showdown League and also a sense of enlightenment for knowing which role you should really be playing in media agency life.

Thomas Lyngsfeldt from Social Soup said the marketing industry really got behind the voting yesterday with 836 votes cast by clients.

“Yesterday’s voting for the best individual at social media was neck and neck the whole day, and the voting really didn’t slow down until midnight,” Lyngsfeldt said.

Anthony Kalergis from Starcom received the highest amount of votes. Michela Zlady from m2m was a close runner up and Matilda (Tilly) Aldridge from Bohemia was a close number three with only two votes less than Anthony.

“I think the results show that there is some fantastic young talent making a big splash in the industry. You can find the leaderboards in the overall competition here.”

Tomorrow we'll update the league table showing which agencies and individuals are ahead of the rest.

The Social media Showdown is being launched by Social Soup in partnership with AdNews and Facebook, which is providing a trip to Silicon Valley for the winner. It will find out which people and agencies are the slickest at social through weeklong series of activations. There's points up for grabs for each social task that will put players into a league table to battle it out for the top spots – both individually – and for their agency. The more you participate and the more social shares you get – the more points.

All the details of the daily initiative, how to enter and participate will be on AdNews every day this week. Each day, we'll also update the league table to see which individuals and agencies are in the lead before announcing the final scores. There's prizes throughout the week from a smartwatch to trip to Silicon Valley courtesy of Facebook and Instagram, for the overall winner.
