IPG's Maria Grivas is the new CEO of Mindshare
Maria Grivas is replacing Katie Rigg-Smith as CEO of Mindshare Australia & New Zealand. She joins from Reprise, IPG Mediabrands’ digitally-led full-service performance agency, where she is CEO.

The Pistol three senior appointments
Digital agency The Pistol announced three senior strategic appointments: Ryan Ross as creative director, Shaunn Anderson strategy director and Yulia Edirisinghe commercial director.

Hugh Marks surfaces with Dreamchaser studio
Hugh Marks, the former CEO of Nine, has resurfaced as the CEO of Dreamchaser, a full-service production and distribution studio based in Sydney. He will run the studio with Endemol Shine Australia co-founder Carl Fennessy. 

Spark Foundry promotes from within
Spark Foundry announced key promotions including Lucie Jansen to the new role of chief investment officer, and Rachida Murray as chief digital officer. The promotions have been designed to allow them to take on more strategic functions, while the leaders within their teams will be focused on managing day-to-day operations.

Karl Bates to Enigma
Independent agency Enigma has appointed Karl Bates executive strategy director. Bates brings more than 15 years of management, agency, and client skills to Enigma, with global experience in automotive, FMCG, finance, telecommunications, technology, and government.

Liz Eades is IAB Australia’s director of learning and development
IAB Australia has appointed Liz Eades director of learning and development. The newly created role will see Eades steer the development, design, and delivery of practice-based education.

Fergus Watts becomes CEO of Reach Foundation
Founder and chairman of Bastion Fergus Watts has stepped down from the board of The Reach Foundation to take on the role of CEO.

Dentsu OOH head Emma Hegg moves back to oOh!media
oOh!media has appointed Dentsu's head of out-of-home Emma Hegg to the newly created role of group director - platforms. Hegg bolsters the product strategy team with responsibility for creating business models which align with agency data strategies.

Dentsu hires John Fairly to head regional design
Dentsu has hired John Fairley as the new head of design.Fairly will be based in Sydney, fusing design resources across all Australia and New Zealand offices to enhance dentsu’s branding and advertising design capabilities.
