Full service digital agency The Pistol announced three senior strategic appointments: Ryan Ross as creative director, Shaunn Anderson strategy director and Yulia Edirisinghe commercial director.

The appointments follow the Pistol’s substantial growth, driven by the expansion of existing client remits and new client wins.

Ryan Ross joins The Pistol after 18 years as creative director at Defusion Creative. At Defusion Creative, Ross used his design, print, animation, web, digital and communication skills to create digital-led creative for clients in both South Africa and Australia.

Shaunn Anderson is a specialist in lead generation technology. Before joining The Pistol, Anderson was the managing director at Timeless Projects, a bespoke lead generation agency. He has extensive experience using AI-driven software to generate high-quality leads at scale.

Yulia Edirisinghe has been at The Pistol for five years and previously served as an account director and strategic growth director, before being promoted to commercial director in March this year.

The Pistol’s CEO, Jaime Nosworthy: "The accelerated growth of The Pistol in the first half of the financial year has paved the way for us to build out our leadership bench.

"Ryan and Shaunn bring a wealth of experience from growing their own successful agency businesses, while Yulia's experience across Strategy and client growth will be pivotal to enabling the growth of our business. They’ve dedicated their careers to helping deliver personalised experiences at scale for some of the world’s most innovative marketers and brands."
