IAB Australia has appointed Liz Eades director of learning and development. The newly created role will see Eades steer the development, design, and delivery of practice-based education to further close the skills gap in the advertising industry.

Priorities for Eades will include building relationships with tertiary education institutions, shaping bespoke corporate training offerings, working with IAB Talent and Careers Working Group and supporting members with onboarding and training talent.

Eades brings two decades of experiences across marketing, communications, and academic environments. She has developed practice-based learning programs for Victorian government departments and private enterprises.

Gai Le Roy, CEO of IAB Australia: “The demand for talent over the last twelve months has seen IAB Australia members and the industry need to attract new people into the industry as well as enhanced training options to continue to upskill our current workforce.

“The appointment of Liz as a senior industry leader with extensive experience in both marketing and academic environments will be a huge benefit to the IAB community.”
