Meet Graham creative duo exit Clemenger for Droga5

Meet Graham Creative duo Tom and George McQueen have left Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for senior creative roles at Droga5 New York. The news was first revealed by Campaign Brief. The news of their departure comes in the same week as CCO Ant Keogh  announced he is leaving the agency after 10 years.The pair, who are also twins, worked on the award-winning TAC 'Meet Graham', as well as the Marriage Equality campaign for Airbnb. M&C hires Mindshare's social lead

M&C Saatchi has appointed Mandi Bateson as head of social. Bateson joins from Mindshare and will be responsible for expanding M&C Saatchi’s social and content offering, and play a role in new business pitches. Over the past 12 years she has worked across tourism, insurance, financial services, telecommunications and FMCG, and has won awards for leading the social media strategy for Foxtel’s ‘Home of Thrones’ campaign for Game of Thrones. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne taps ex-Red Bull marketing exec

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has hired Bryn Marriott as head of activation. Marriott will lead the agency’s shopper marketing, experiential and activation output. He joins from Red Bull Australia where he was head of category. Prior to this, he held senior category management and trade marketing leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson in the UK and Australia. Clems Melbourne MD Paul McMillan says: “Bryn’s appointment will ensure we continue to deliver truly integrated work that works”. More on Clems here.

TEG appoints MD of data, digital and technology

Ticketing and entertainment company TEG has appointed Mazen Kassis as MD of data, digital and technology. Kassis joins from Dentsu Aegis' data firm Data2Decisions, where he was marketing analytics director. In the newly created role, he will join the senior leadership team and oversee its analytics business, TEG Rewards, TEG Digital and Softix. The role has been created to drive integration and commercial focus across TEG’s businesses. More here

Webling bolsters creative team with new hire

WPP AUNZ's digital agency Webling has appointed Carlos Guedes to the newly created position of associate creative director. Guedes joins following a three-year stint at mobile creative Snakk Media Group as creative director and is a founding member of mobile creative agency Touch Create. He is an experienced digital creative director and has worked at agencies including JWT, Isobar and HAVAS and with brands such as Vodafone, McDonald's, Lipton, Nokia, Kit Kat, and MTV. Freelancer taps Ogilvy for comms manager

Freelancer.com has appointed Liam Fitzpatrick to the in-house role of communications manager ANZ. Fitzpatrick joins Freelancer from Ogilvy’s Howorth Communications in Sydney, where he was a senior account director. Prior to this, he spent seven years in agencies, five of which were with Propeller PR. His client experience includes SAP, TBWA/London, iProspect, Blackwood Seven, Google and The Walt Disney Company. Fitzpatrick will report into Sebastian Siseles, director of international at Freelancer.
