SO SUBTLE

First it was the Lindt bath that stopped the nation, and now it's Menulog upping its sponsorship status on last night’s The Bachelor.

The episode saw 857,000 metro viewers tune in to see Richie and Faith go on a glamorous date, which finished with ordering a gourmet meal of Menulog. Radio personality Hamish Blake also made a cameo last night, helping the show win the 7.30pm time slot.

AdNews revealed in July that Menulog, U By Kotex, Rest Super, Lindt and Wrigley’s Extra had come on board with the Ten show as sponsors.

Since the show kicked off, viewers have been quick to catch on to not-so-subtle brand integrations from Dyson and Extra but hadn’t yet seen Menulog’s presence on the small screen.

So romantic: Richie and Faith used the Menulog app on their date

Bachie fans didn't miss the opportunity to deliver on the sarcasm:

Menulog also joined in on the converastion, with some puns that puts host Osher Gunsberg to shame.
