World number one tennis player Ash Barty is becoming an increasingly popular face in advertising as brands seek to capitalise on her star power.

Barty has won almost $24 million worth of prize money from her tennis career alone, with sponsorship and advertising deals likely to add millions more to her bank account.

So far during the Australian Open, Barty has starred in campaigns for both Vegemite and Disney+.

Vegemite has been a sponsor for Barty for the last three years, announcing it would extend its sponsorship with her in October.

In line with the announcement, Vegemite released limited edition Bartymite and has since released merchandise as well.

Barty is starring in Vegemite's latestest iteration of the Tastes Like Australia campaign.

She also scored a starring role alongside Rove McManus and Ricki-Lee Coulter in the new Disney+ campaign to launch the streaming platform's interactive DNA test where fans are able to find out which Disney character genes they have.

In 2019, Barty topped the Australian Financial Review's Cultural Power list, highlighting the 23-year-old's influence and currency across the nation.

Over the course of the last year, she has starred in numerous campaigns including Tourism Australia's Matesong campaign with Kylie Minogue which was pulled from air during Australia's catastrophic bushfires.

Luxury car brand Jaguar came on board as a sponsor for Barty in late 2018, following Barty's brief relationship with Toyota.

She has since starred in Jaguar's Fiercely Driven campaign which was released in September.

Barty has also been the face of a campaign from Tennis Australia, #PlayForYou, which encouraged girls to continue playing sport.

In it, she shares her own experience about taking a two-year break from tennis at the age of 18 and why she rejoined the sport.

Barty's major sponsors include Kayo, Vegemite, Head, Fila, Jaguar and Rado.
