The White Agency has won digital work with New South Wales urban road project NorthConnex motorway, AdNews understands.

AdNews believes the remit of the digital work for the project will also include the development of an app for consumers.

The joint venture project, which is a nine kilometre twin tunnel link from the end of the M1 Pacific Motorway to the Hills M2 Motorway, will be constructed by Lend Lease and French company Bouygues Construction in a contract worth $2.6 billion. Construction is expected to be completed by 2019.

Lend Lease are also involved in the construction of projects including Victoria's East West Connect and Barangaroo.

The White Agency declined to comment.

Lend Lease could not be reached in time for publication.
