The Media Store has appointed Brady Lyon investment director, a newly created role focused on developing buying strategy and revenue management.

Lyon brings close to a decade of experience in media investment, trading and sales.

He was most recently agency sales director at GoTransit Media Group, where he built supplier and client partnerships across ooh campaigns.

Before that, Lyon spent nearly eight years at EssenceMediacom, leading investment teams across offline media and serving as investment director in the Melbourne office from 2022, handling FMCG, charity and finance accounts.

Lyon said strong agency-client relationships were central to his approach.

"Having worked with some of the nation's biggest brands during my career, I've become acutely aware of the power of strong relationships between agencies and clients in making campaigns truly memorable," he said.

The Media Store CEO Stephen Leeds said the appointment reflected the agency's ability to attract experienced talent.

"With nearly a decade of experience in the agency space, Brady has negotiated media investments for clients across a range of verticals, building a reputation for delivering results in a competitive landscape,” Leeds said.

“He intimately understands the media landscape and has a track record for creating meaningful campaigns and partnerships.”

The appointment follows The Media Store hiring Tanvi Singh as head of strategy and planning.

The agency also added sustainable rideshare company Splend's digital media account, joining a client list that includes Rugby World Cup Experiences, RMIT, Hino and ENGIE.
