Seven Year Switch continues to post solid ratings as Nine's Reno Rumble struggles for the second night in a row against the MKR juggernaut.

Seven Year Switch drew an audience of 760,000 metropolitan viewers, according to overnight figures. This increased to 1.2 million nationally, and was the most watched show in its timeslot across the 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 demos.

Last week, the show attracted 858,000 viewers on debut. Seven Year Switch sees couples on the brink of break-up put their marriages to the test, with each matched with a compatible, single person who they are to live with for two weeks.

Meanwhile, Reno Rumble continues its disastrous start with 453,000 metro viewers, placing it outside the top 20 shows. This is down 43% on the second episode of last year and places into question the decision to pit it against the My Kitchen Rules juggernaut, which again topped the night with 1.4 million metro viewers.

This 2016 season of Reno Rumble debuted Monday night with a paltry 395,000 viewers, down 55% on last season.

Seven won the night, its main channel attracting 25% of the daily audience share to Nine's 15.5% and Ten's 14.1%.
