An average metro audience of 1.53 million people tuned in to watch My Kitchen Rules' youngest ever contestants – Mitch and Laura – serve up venison in a smoke-filled glass case in another strong night of viewing for Seven.

MKR continues to dominate the coveted 7.30pm slot ahead of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, which posted a metro audience of 840,000 – up 19% on episode three last year – and Nine's The Big Bang Theory on 798,000.

At their rustic home restaurant, The Pines, the Victorian siblings served dishes that are “from the earth to the plate” in an impressive hobbit-like dinner setting.

Although the smoked venison was a tad overcooked, the jus a disaster and the wild boar not quite a roast, the likeable pair claimed a 10/10 for dessert.

Home And Away had another solid evening with average audience of 858,000, while the ABC's Catalyst (732,000) also fared well.

Although being edged out in the news, Seven's share of viewing was 31.3% to Nine's 25.1% and Ten's 20.1%.
