Mindshare retains NAB

Mindshare has retained the National Australia Bank (NAB) account, one of the biggest in the financial sector and said to be valued in the tens of millions of dollars, for another three years.

The GroupM agency, with a decade-long relationship, will provide comprehensive media services, including media planning and buying across all channels, specifically in the areas of performance media, SEM (search engine marketing), search engine optimisation (SEO), social and programmatic.

Nestlé $50m Australian media pitch near to close

One of the world's largest food and beverage companies Nestlé has shortlisted three agencies for its Australian media pitch, according to industry insiders.

The shortlist includes, incumbent agency IPG's UM housed out of Sydney, Publicis' Starcom and one agency from WPP's GroupM, AdNews understands.

Westpac puts St. George creative pitch on hold amid leadership changes

Big four bank Westpac has put St. George's creative pitch on hold, AdNews revealed.

AdNews reported the pitch in July, however industry insiders suggest recent senior appointments have caused the pause, AdNews understands.

La Trobe media account up for pitch

Melbourne university La Trobe is pitching its media account, AdNews reveals.

At the account's peak it was valued at around $2 million but is now worth around $1 million over three years, an industry insider told AdNews.

The incumbent agency is dentu's Carat, housed out of Melbourne, which has held the account for more than a decade and decided not to repitch for the account.

WA Police Force hands Gatecrasher $3m creative account

The Western Australian Police Force has appointed independent ad agency Gatecrasher its creative account after a nine month pitch process, AdNews revealed.

The incumbent was The Brand Agency.

Activation Union appointed as Diageo Australia’s BTL creative agency

Premium spirits company Diageo has appointed activation-led agency Activation Union as its below the line agency of record.

For this account, the agency has partnered with Howatson+Company to support with data, technology and creative.

Dig wins pork pitch

Australian Pork Limited (APL), the national representative for pig producers, has appointed Dig as its creative agency after a competitive pitch for the Get Some Pork on Your Fork campaign.

Dig has been tasked with increasing awareness and saliency of pork as an everyday protein option, by building meaning into the long standing Get Some Pork on Your Fork campaign.

The Incubator wins PropertyMate pitch

Property app PropertyMate has appointed The Incubator as its creative services agency following a competitive pitch.

The decision to collaborate with The Incubator comes as PropertyMate prepares to ramp up its national identity within the property app market.

Rasic and Partners appointed to Australian Native Products account

Rasic and Partners has been appointed as the creative agency for Australian Native Products.

Australian Native Products is the world’s largest grower of Lemon Myrtle, supplying the ingredient globally, to brands across culinary, skin care, cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, beverages, cleaning, and other categories. The agency will be working across the entire brand.

Think HQ wins UNESCO Victorian Creative Cities Network pitch

Positive change agency Think HQ has won the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Victorian Creative Cities Network (VCCN) account in a competitive pitch.

The two-year project across Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, and Bendigo aims to create a uniting strategy, elevating and promoting the UNESCO VCCN to local, national, and international audiences.

Ryvalmedia wins Racing Victoria pitch

RyanCap's digital-first media agency Ryvalmedia as won the full media remit for Racing Victoria, following a competitive pitch review.

Bohemia was appointed in 2018 as Racing Victoria's media agency.

The Ryvalmedia partnership starts immediately with the first campaign to roll out in the new year. The scope of work includes holistic media strategy, planning, and buying across all channels, digital and non-digital.

S&J Media wins on-train advertising for Sydney Trains

Transit media specialist S&J Media Group has been appointed exclusive provider for on-train advertising solutions for Sydney Trains, replacing TorchMedia from December.

Beyond Bank appoints Orchard to drive digital transformation

Beyond Bank, one of Australia’s largest customer-owned banks, has appointed digital agency Orchard to support its digital transformation journey.
