Dan Hojnik appointed general manager of Involved Media
Media agency Involved Media has appointed Dan Hojnik as general manager. Reporting to Involved Media and Active International Australia Group managing director Sarah Keith, Hojnik is responsible for Involved Media’s clients, operations and staff in all markets.

Simon Smith to lead commercial content and creative at Are Media

Publisher Are Media has appointed media executive Simon Smith head of commercial content and creative. Smith joins from SUDDENLY, where as executive director of content marketing he launched the content marketing agency in 2018 building it into a team of more than 60 delivering content strategy, creative, events and production for clients including Woolworths, SWEAT, The Good Guys, Royal Wolf and hipages.

MiQ appoints Tom Bajrovic WA sales manager
MiQ has appointed Tom Bajrovic sales manager for Western Australia. Bajrovic will support WA operations, working across large and independent agencies, reporting to MiQ WA/SA sales director, Trent McKeown.

Avid Native creates content & strategy manager role
Media technology business Avid Collective has promoted Brittany Heniedi to the newly created role of strategy & content manager, to focus on branded and native content executions.

NZME appoints Chris Rudd GM Australia, customer solutions
New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) has appointed Chris Rudd as GM Australia, customer solutions. Chris Rudd has 25 years experience working in both Australia and New Zealand, including time at ACP in Australia and has been with NZME for 11 years where he was GM publishing.

iProspect adds two to strategic unit
iProspect has bolstered its strategic unit after a year of client growth and new business wins. The new appointments are Andrew Barrett, strategy director, and Ruby Muller, media strategist.

Kiranpreet Kaur appointed MD at Archibald Williams
Kiranpreet Kaur, head of client & strategic services at independent Archibald Williams, has been promoted to managing director.

Simon Smith at Are Media
Publisher Are Media has appointed media executive Simon Smith head of commercial content and creative.
Smith will work alongside Are Media’s advertising sales teams to lead commercial content, creative and events and drive media engagement for Are Media’s commercial partners across platforms.
