iProspect has bolstered its strategic unit after a year of client growth and new business wins.

The new appointments are Andrew Barrett, strategy director, and Ruby Muller, media strategist.

Sam Cousins, chief strategy officer, iProspect Australia, says 2021 was a stellar year with wins including Polestar, Kerring, FS8, Peloton and Abbot Laboratories.

"Due to our integrated offering we’ve also grown scope with Ingenia, Pearson, AIPT, PayPal and all of our travel clients coming back to the market,” said Cousins.

Andrew Barrett joined the team after having strategy roles at OMD and Starcom. Based in the Brisbane office covering both Brisbane and Sydney clients.

Barrett: “It’s really exciting being able to apply the strategy craft to our clients’ problems to help them achieve commercial success. I love the integrated model here at iProspect and it’s really helping me apply strategic principles to the traditional bottom of funnel channels and at the same time learning how I can use the data & insight they produce.”

Ruby Muller comes on board after some time client side at not-for-profit organisation Smiling Mind, and before that, indie agency The Media Store.

Muller: “Coming from a non-profit background, I understand firsthand the pressure on marketers to do more with less. I’ve really resonated with the way iProspect have embedded strategic thinking into the heart of what they do, existing at the intersection of data and empathy to deliver tangible business outcomes. I’m excited to put my experience both client and agency side developing marketing, communications and content strategies into practice with the wonderful team here.”

In 2021 Harriet Swinburn joined the team from dentsu UK to help bed in the proposition and bring the clients on the iProspect journey. During her time with the agency, she has continued to be a strong, strategic force.

She said: “iProspect’s proposition with a performance mindset really connected with me as this is what I have done through much of my career, to develop digital, data and technology partnerships to enhance customer understanding and better connect online and offline user journeys. Having equally loved my previous content and innovation roles, I’m really excited to be at iProspect where we can offer our clients depth in each of these specialities.”
