Mobile Lions Shortlist: Optus Clever Buoy, New Zealand drones and Virgin Mobile

Optus' shark detecting ocean buoy, 'Clever Buoy', has been shortlisted in three categories for a Mobile Lion.

Eight Australian campaigns in total have been shortlisted, with 'Clever Buoy', created by M&C Saatchi shortlisted in the Response/Real-Time Activity, Utility and Activation by Location categories.

M&C Saatchi has also appeared on the services shortlist for 'Where's my Wallet' campaign for Commonwealth Bank, advertising its cardless cash product.

Other Aussies include Tourism New Zealand 'NZDronie' by Whybin\TBWA Sydney which is shortlisted in Innovative Use of Social for Mobile and Virgin Mobile '#mealforameal' by Havas Worldwide Australia Sydney in the Community Building/Engagement category.

Also in the running is Oakley 'Pro Vision' by GPY&R Melbourne in the Integrated Mobile Campaign shortlist, and 3Cs Outerwear 'Rise&Fall' by Grey Sydney in Interface and Navigation.
