Match has swept in to take the consolidated Boost Mobile and Belong account, bringing $10 million in billings to the independent agency.

It said that it had won the account after working on internet provider Belong in a digital capacity.

When parent  company Telstra decided to consolidate the media strategy, planning, and buying account for the two offshoots to the one agency, Match was able to leverage its experience with Belong to take the account.

The Monkeys notably had the media planning and strategy directive on the 'Stay Living' campaign, which won the shop a MFA Award last year.

Chief operating office at Match James Simmons, said the challenge would be to manage the media for two brands at different stages.

“Both brands are at different lifecycles and that provides an interesting challenge to give each a market edge whilst providing a great opportunity to drive learnings across brands and increase effectiveness of our communications,” Simmons said.

Match Media was recently named in the Warc 100, as the only independent shop inside the top 20.
