Marketer Survey: How effective is your social media strategy?

By AdNews | 19 March 2018

Social media marketing is poised for another huge year of growth. IPG Mediabrands investment arm Magna predicts investment in social media marketing will rise by 18% this year, with online video expected to grow 22%.

The two areas are the star performers of digital media marketing and show few signs of abating. Magna cites the rise of news feeds, diversification of social platforms and increased mobile usage as key drivers of growth in 2018.

Given their growing importance in the media and marketing mix, AdNews has launched a survey into how brands use social media and measure campaign success to find out more.

Take part in our study: AdNews - Social Media Marketing 2018.

Although in most cases social is one vital cog of a broader marketing mix, AdNews wants to look at why marketers are investing heavily into these platforms, their strengths and weaknesses and how the industry measures success.

To really understand the role of social, AdNews is conducting exclusive research and would love to hear the views of marketers from across the world.

The study is anonymous and should take no longer than seven minutes. All you need to do is visit our survey page: AdNews - Social Media Marketing 2018.

The results will be published in AdNews in May and on our website, and shared across social media channels as well as industry LinkedIn pages.

This important piece of research will help the industry better understand how social media marketing is being used in practice, perceptions in the industry and hopefully identify areas where it can prove.

Your voice and views will help social media platforms and the industry understand this growing and increasingly important area of marketing.
