Clemenger BBDO Sydney wins Brookvale Union creative account

Clemenger BBDO Sydney has been appointed to the creative account for alcoholic ginger beer brand Brookvale Union.

The agency will develop a new creative platform for the largest alcoholic ginger beer brand in Australia.

“The team at Clemenger have been awesome to work with on this project – we have thrown the rule book out the window and are having some fun," Brookvale Union chief marketing officer Todd Atkinson says.

"The outcomes promise to be very entertaining and will lift Brookvale Union’s profile significantly in trade and amongst our consumers."

The creative brand platform will leverage the brand’s unique positioning, ‘quality nonsense’: while everything inside each can and bottle is quality, everything outside it is nonsense, so great tasting drinks can be enjoyed while pressing pause on a super serious world and having fun for fun’s sake.

"The opportunity to work on an epic, fun brand, and marketing team with bold ambitions is exciting," Clemenger BBDO Sydney CEO Pete Bosilkovski says.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Todd Atkinson and the Brookvale Union team to bring the brand’s purpose of ‘quality nonsense’ to the market.”

Brookvale Union joins ice cream brand Blue Ribbon and iNova Pharmaceuticals' brand Demazin as recent creative account wins in 2020.

The agency also helped create a new brand platform for V Energy at the end of last year.
