Australia has won 25 Lions at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2021.

This is down on the country's 36 Lions in 2019 when the event was last held. In 2018 the nation won 56 Lions, including four Grand Prix, compared to 2017 when Australia won 113 Lions.

In this year's awards program Australia won four Gold, seven Silver and 14 Bronze Lions but no Grand Prix.

Australia won no Lions on day five of the week-long virtual event which saw categories including Film, Titanium, Glass: The Lion for Change and Sustainable Development Goals announced.

The Donation Dollar for the Royal Australian Mint was the big winner seeing Saatchi & Saatchi and Herd MSL pick up two Gold, two Silver and a Bronze Lion across Outdoor, Direct and PR.

AKQA also won big in collaboration with its sister agency in Sao Paulo for their work, Code of Conscience, for Instituto Raoni which won a Gold, two Silver and two Bronze Lions across Digital Craft, Creative Data and Mobile.

The agency also won a Silver Lion in Radio & Audio for its work, Action Audio, for Tennis Australia.

Check out all the winners on day one, two, three and four.
