The Bachelor in Paradise continued to claw back viewers last night, coming in second to the Commonwealth Games, with a viewership of 736,000.

The drama continued on the show, following the shock exit of Laurina Fleure, who left paradise on Tuesday's episode.

Wednesday night saw crowd favourites Michael and Luke stuck in a 'battle of the bro code', as Michael decided he would offer a rose to Luke's 'long-time' paradise partner Lisa.

The show has seen continued growth in ratings this week, following its lowest viewership to date last Sunday.

It seems the injection of American contestants Jarrod, Grant and the recently dumped Canadian Daniel, has reignited the flame for viewers.

The Bachelor in Paradise will go up against the Commonwealth Games for the final time this Sunday, as Seven's coverage ends with the Closing Ceremony.

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games begins its run into the final weekend, drawing in big numbers last night yet again, as coverage of day seven's night and evening events took out the top two spots in all key demographics.

Seven saw a slight drop off in the ratings for both the night and evening events but still remained above the one million mark, drawing in 1.19m and 1.15m, respectively.

Live streaming of the games reached a new milestone hitting 110 million streamed minutes, outperforming the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Summer of Tennis.

Rating aprill 11
