Nine's Young Sheldon continued its domination in all the key advertising demographics last night but saw a dip in ratings compared to its debut, reaching 933,000 viewers.

The Big Bang prequel was the timeslot winner across the five metro cities, beating out Ten's Bachelor in Paradise.

The Big Bang Theory itself also continued its success, trailing directly behind Young Sheldon and drawing a viewership of 790,000, despite dropping off by 100,000 viewers.

Ten's The Bachelor in Paradise managed to claw back 50,000 viewers following the heavy drop off last week, reaching an audience of 707,000 last night.

The finale episode of Seven's Australian Spartan also bounced back in ratings, after falling out of the top 20 last Tuesday. It gained an extra 46,000 viewers, reaching an audience of 447,000 - a relatively low audience for a finale episode.
