The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games continues to draw in big numbers for Seven, as coverage of day five's night and evening events took out the top two spots in all key demographics.

The evening coverage of the games drew in a viewership of 1.45 and 1.33 million viewers respectively.

Nine's Young Sheldon took a small hit in the ratings as a result, coming in behind the games in third place, garnering 767,000 viewers.

The Bachelor in Paradise bounced back from its Sunday ratings, its lowest to date, with a viewership of 673,000.

The reality show managed to leap frog The Big Bang Theory for the first time, as night two of its “American Invasion” kicked off, which saw American contestants crash the Bachelor's Fijian pad.

The Nine sitcom drew in an audience of 656,000 as many switched over to see which American Bachelor contestants would be entering paradise to shake up the show.

All three shows will go up against the games again tonight, as Seven looks to continue its rating domination all the way through to the Closing Ceremony this Saturday.
