Archibald/Williams has appointed Chris Yong as its new MD, joining the team from a role at Clemenger BBDO.

Yong has more than 13 years experience in Australia and the UK including the past four years at Clemenger BBDO and a prior role at Saatchi and Saatchi. He was most recently head of new business at Clemenger.

The announcement of Yong's new role follows on from the appointment of Matt Gilmour as Archibald/William's executive creative director. Gilmour joined the agency this year from a role as creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Archibald/Williams Partner Bram Williams said Chris' collaborative approach to work makes him a great fit for the agency.

“The agency has been growing continuously over the past two years,” Williams said.

“We have recently moved to larger premises and with the appointment of several new staff we saw the need to bring in a MD to help drive the agency through the next phase.”

“I have worked with Chris in the past when we were both at Saatchi & Saatchi, and I know first hand what a great fit he will be, and Stu and I are delighted to have him in our team. We also have some exciting changes planned in the near future, including further executive appointments and upcoming client announcements.”
