AdNews shortlisted in 2021 IT Journalism Awards

AdNews has been shortlisted for Best Business Coverage for the second year in a row at the IT Journalism Awards.

Three of its journalists are in the running for prizes, including Best Business Journalist, Best New Journalist and Best Corporate Content. 

The Best Business Coverage Award has a strong field of finalists including The Australian and The Australian Financial Review.

AdNews' Paige Murphy, a senior journalist, and Mariam Cheik-Hussein, a journalist, are both finalists in the Best New Journalist Award. This is Cheik-Hussein's second year on the shortlist. 

Murphy is also a finalist for Best Corporate Content.  

The editor of AdNews, Chris Pash, is shortlisted for Best Business Journalist.  

The winners in all sections were due to be announced at an event last week but this has been delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions until later in the year.  

The Lizzies, as the awards are known, have been presented since 2004. This year the Samsung IT Journalism Awards are also supported by Watterson Marketing Communications, Amazon Web Services, Atlassian, Enex and Canva.
