The surfers try to create smoothie recipes that taste like donuts.

Woolworths has released a new online content push on its Facebook and YouTube channels which sees female surf champ, Steph Gilmore, attempting to make a healthy smoothie which pleases young surfer and viral sensation Sabre Norris.

It is part of a larger push to communicate the shopping giant's 'summer health' message in partnership with Surfing Australia.

Woolworths director of marketing, Andrew Hicks, said: “Surfing is at the heart of Australian culture, so Woolworths is excited to be working with Stephanie and Sabre to showcase how easy it is to make healthy eating simple and fun.

“Through our partnership with Surfing Australia and this video series created with two inspiring athletes we are proud to be encouraging healthy eating habits among young Australians.”

The clip has already been viewed 1.2 million times on Woolie's Facebook page.
