Jameson rolls out a series of hand painted murals throughout high-traffic areas in Australian capital cities.

Jameson Irish Whisky has worked with Posterscope and Vizeum to create a series of hand-painted murals in Australian capital cities as part of its latest campaign.

Created by Apparition Media, the murals are situated at eight locations throughout Melbourne Sydney and Brisbane and feature the Jameson bottle alongside the brand's motto 'Sine Metu', meaning 'without fear'.

Jameson senior brand manager Valeria Catterini said the hand painted billboards “add an element of intrigue for passers-by during the painting process”.

Posterscope hand picked locations that were both popular and high-traffic including Surry Hills in Sydney, Fortitude Valley in Brisbane and Melbourne's CBD.

Posterscope business director Elliot Devine says: “Jameson challenged Posterscope with thinking outside of traditional out-of-home (OOH) channels... we selected the most impactful and relevant sites to elevate the brand and align with the Jameson motto. ”

“It's exciting when a brand challenges the medium to come up with really creative executions,” Devine says.

The murals have been painted onto commercial buildings and will be up for five weeks.
