The message: Don't wear beige socks and you buy a Kia.

After the success of last year’s Super Bowl spot starring Pierce Brosnan, David&Goliath have created another ad for the car brand starring Christopher Walken.

In the clip, Walken uses sock puppets to demonstrate how beige socks will mean a boring life, and how you must wear colourful socks - and buy a Kia Optima.

Walken says, “There are two types of people in the world, those who are content to walk in… and there are those who expect more.”

The actor is rather convincing with his sock/car comparison, a like that of the Facebook metaphor with the chairs that received backlash.

The ad will air in the third quarter in a 60-second version—15 seconds shorter than this one.
