Watch out Leconte, your age is showing.

Telstra has launched its latest campaign in promotion of Telstra Air’s free wi-fi service starring French tennis player, Henri Leconte.

In one of the 30-second clips, Leconte is playing totem tennis and is clearly quite impressed by his game. He hears some girls saying, ‘he is so hot’, and assumes they are talking about him. Embarrassingly for Leconte, they are live steaming the tennis and speaking about a (much younger) player.

Another clip shows the previous Channel Seven commentator speaking to his family on ‘the wi-fi’ blowing kisses to them, which look intended for a young boy in the seat in front of him. Awkward.

The campaign by The Monkeys, was designed to comically highlight the Telstra Air hotspots across Australia that are giving Telstra members free wi-fi.

In 2015, Telstra re-signed its creative roster on a retainer basis. The roster currently includes DDB, The Monkeys, Clemenger BBDO Sydney, R/GA and Lavender, along with several specialist agencies. All are understood to be re-signed deals.
