Union, WPP AUNZ’s bespoke national group model created to service Bankwest, has launched a new national brand campaign for the visual-style terms and conditions the financial institution developed with the University of WA in a bid to make T&Cs more engaging for customers.

Bankwest has rolled out visual terms and conditions for its Bankwest Easy Transaction Account, reimagining the traditional text formats of delivering key product information to customers.

The campaign features across out of home, digital and radio, and a national TVC.

Union executive creative director Paul Nagy says the agency had worked with Bankwest over the last 18 months to develop a ‘visual’ contract.

“Union’s job was to develop a communications approach that engaged customers with this topic – using visual contracts as a way to bring the Bank Less promise to life - behaving less like a bank by creating hassle-free, transparent and customer focused," Nagy says.

Bankwest chief customer officer Paul Vivian said: “Customer needs are changing, and visual T&Cs provide critical information to customers in a simple, friendly and engaging way to support them in improving their financial wellbeing.”
