From doughnut-stuffed turkey to avocados, Australians share their favourite things about Christmas, with a sneak peek from Curtis Stone.

Avocados, mangoes and more! Australians are sharing what they love in Coles' Coles' 2017 Christmas campaign.

The main 30-second brand ad shows mums, dads, grandmas, grandpas and adorable kids sharing their favourite thing about Christmas.

Celebrity chef Curtis Stone makes a quick cameo at the end of the ad, marking his return to the brand's Christmas push.

In a second 30-second spot, a cast of cute kids share what they love, including doughnut stuffed turkey.

The TV ads are supported by Coles' first animated series. Released on the brand’s Facebook page, the 30-second spot introduces a gingerbread man as the main character called ‘Gingerbread Gerry’.

Coles stores as well as its social pages have been decked out with the Gingerbread theme.

Last week, David Jones launched a similar ad from TBWA Sydney, telling the tail of its own gingerbread man.
