Woolworths has taken its Everyday Rewards creative and brand strategy out to pitch, AdNews can confirm.

The Woolworths account has been held by M+C Saatchi since 2017 but the agency will no longer serve as the creative incumbent for Everyday Rewards.

M+C Saatchi  will continue as the lead group creative partner for Woolworths in Australia and New Zealand, Woolworths told AdNews.

M&C Saatchi was also appointed as the agency of record for paid social creative and production in 2022.

Woolworths established its bespoke model, Greenhouse, six years ago with M&C Saatchi as a founding partner. It’s powered by a collective of partner agencies and Woolworths’ internal creative, design, experience, and production capabilities.

“Our needs in social media have evolved, particularly the last few years during the pandemic, and our ambition is to accelerate brand growth through outstanding social content to connect with our customers," said Cassie Wheeler, Woolworths head of marketing communications.

“With the right blend of proven experience in Paid Social and their role in integrated platforms and campaigns, we’re very excited to further collaborate with M&C Saatchi on future projects.”

M+C Saatchi declined to comment.
