Vodafone names new CMO

Vodafone has imported its new CMO from Philippines telco Globe Telecom, to replace Kim Clarke.

Loo Fun Chee is set to join on 5 January. She has a raft of telco experience in Asia and within agency and client side operations, with JWT in Malaysia, Citibank, Nestle and Unilever.

Chee is currently head of consumer marketing at Globe Telecom, in the Philippines, where she has been responsible for driving rapid growth in mobile data monetisation, customer loyalty management, business intelligence and digital marketing, according to Vodafone.

At the same time, Vodafone has also appointed Errol van Graan as customer service operations director. The South African has most recently been at Telstra. He was previously an executive at Vodacom in South Africa, and at Vodafone Romania.

In January Inaki Berroeta was appointed CEO of Vodafone, joining from the company's Romanian business.

Vodafone is deliberately developing an international team with experience from diverse markets.
