Val Morgan Group has brought digital publishing into the fold inking a partnership with entertainment fan site, Fandom.

The partnership adds to Val Morgan Group's existing portfolio of cinema, out-of-home and custom publishing.

Fandom is a website focused on pop culture across movies, gaming and entertainment. It has more than 2.1 million users through Australia and New Zealand, which it hopes to grow through the integration with Val Morgan Group.

As part of the deal, which kicks off from 2019, Val Morgan Group will amplify Fandom on its cinema screens exposing a new audience to the content.

Fandom also offers Val Morgan Group the opportunity to tap into its ad network, which includes branded content, and offer brands an end-to-end solution.

Val Morgan Group CEO Dan Hill says the partnership is a natural extension of the business' strategy of connecting brands with an engaged audience.

"The partnership will offer clients both contextually relevant content and brand safe environments; which is key to agencies effectively executing their screen strategies," he says.

Fandom COO Walker Jacobs says the deal is a massive opportunity for the Fandom brand, as well as elevating Val Morgan's cinema and out-of-home assets.

"There is a lot of natural synergy between Fandom and Val Morgan and this partnership allows both companies to maximize the opportunity in best serving brands and consumers in new, compelling ways," he says.
