Thinkerbell has promoted Margie Reid to CEO in a leadership shake-up at the agency.

Reid, who has been with the agency since 2018, steps into the new role of CEO/partner from her previous role as managing director/partner. She will oversee Thinkerbell’s two agencies in Melbourne and Sydney which are also under new leadership.

In Sydney, Thinkerbell’s north office, Katie Dally joins the team as general manager. Dally was previously at CHE Proximity and will now lead the office working alongside executive creative tinker Paul Swann.

Meanwhile in Melbourne, the agency’s south office, Jaime Morgan has been promoted to general manager after serving as its head thinker since July last year.

“We are so excited to welcome Katie to the team. Her sparkle, intelligence, and leadership qualities make her the perfect person to lead North,” Reid says.

“Jaime in the South has been absolutely instrumental building the team and client base. She’s helped build a strong and cohesive team in Melbourne, delivering for our clients. Our client NPS of around 46 is testimony to the great work she’s doing.

“For me, it’s wonderful that we are continuing to grow Thinkerbell, especially during a pandemic, with a vision that ensures our independence translates into providing our clients a unique offer, delivering on ‘Measured Magic’ and helping them explore different ways of growing their brands and business.”

The agency, which has clients including Bega, IAG, Lion and The Iconic, now has more than 55 staff across its two offices. The leadership changes come a month after Ben Shepherd joined the Thinkberbell team as general manager of media.
