AdNews brings the stories of those working from home (WFH) in the advertising and media industry during the coronavirus crisis.

Pete Whitehead is chief commercial officer at ARN.

How do you deal with the silence?
Silence – what’s that? I’m far too busy enjoying all the best music, podcasts and radio stations in the home office through iHeartRadio.

The good of working from home?
Being able to spend more quality time with the dog (and the kids).

The bad?
The look of disgust that the cat gives you when he realises that you’re staying home for another day (and managing the kids’ homeschooling…).

Tips for making WFH work?
Establishing a routine, and not getting lazy with your wardrobe. There’s nothing worse than getting a "didn’t you wear that shirt yesterday" comment from one of your Teams/Zoom-mates.

I am looking forward to getting back to the office because …
I’ll get to talk to people one-on-one again. Although, I’m not minding the ability to turn my microphone and camera off and just disappear from view whenever I choose…
