MediaCom wins uni from M2M

Deakin University has appointed MediaCom Melbourne to implement its communications planning and activation across brand, faculties and course-related campaigns. It is thought the university first announced the media pitch in June of 2014 - meaning the process has last more than a year.
After a four-way pitch the agency has been awarded the University’s account from incumbent M2M.
Anny Havercroft, GM MediaCom Melbourne, said: “Deakin University is a progressive university with a dynamic marketing team so we are thrilled to be partnering with a like-minded brand.”

AnalogFolk hires

AnalogFolk continues to bolster its content marketing business, appointing its first audience and influence director and an editor. Amy Broadfoot joins the agency to manage audience development and increase the influence for the brands it works with through media. In addition John Agnew joins as editor. Prior to AnalogFolk he was online editor at GQ.com.au.
