Hoyts bolsters brand partnerships

Hoyts cinema's premium offering, Hoyts Lux, has bolstered its list of brand partners with online partner Visa Checkout, automotive partner Peugeot, chocolate partner Maltesers, premium beer partner Stella Artois and wine partner Vinaceous Wines all coming on board to support the offering.

The partnerships are promoted across the variety of Hoyts owned media assets including; in cinema integration, bespoke and cobranded promotions and events.

Thompson and Greaney step up

Current joint creative directors of GPY&R, Andrew Thompson and Brendan Greaney have been promoted to joint executive creative directors of the Y&R Group in Brisbane.

The agency cited ongoing growth of the group in Brisbane as the reason for the promotion, with staff numbers of the Group in Brisbane now at 95.

Along with the appointments, the agency is set to open a stand-alone building overlooking the beach in the Southbank Parklands in the coming months.

IAB Australia adds Lisa Walsh

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has appointed ex-ABC head of insights Lisa Walsh as its director of research.

Walsh's appointment is effective immediately, and she had worked with the ABC for 13 years.

Most recently, she conducted quantative and qualitive audience research across all media platforms.
