Adam Good, former director of digital media and content at Telstra, has resurfaced as APAC chief digital officer at Denstu Aegis Network. He has taken on a regional role leading digital strategy across the network's Branded Agency group.

Dentsu's branded agencies operate in Singapore, Australia, China, Hong Kong Taiwan, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines and New Zealand.

Good told AdNews today that his role is to "bring full digital transformation" to the Dentsu group. He left Telstra six months ago as part of a restructure by CMO Joe Pollard. He has relocated to Singapore for the role this week.

He has a background in client side with Telstra but has also previosuly held roles on the agency side including a stint as executive director of digital innovation at Clemenger Group, EVP at Proximity based in the US. He has also held APAC roles before and was previously APAC president of Tribal DDB based in Hong Kong.

"I know how big, powerful and creative the Dentsu network is ...  I really get the feeling the Denstu network is really a bundled network in the way its agencies work together. It's best in breed. I can bring business and media planning in to Denstu's branded agencies as clients are demanding more data, CRM and content capabilities," he said.

"There's lots of innovation coming out of Japan and international opportunties. Everyone is global, but you still need to execute locally. It's a regional role but I'm an Aussie and I love the Aussie market, I'd like to still be involved [here]."
