TBWA Adelaide has hired creative team Patrick O'Reilly and Mark Atherton to join the growing agency.

The appointments follow TBWA Adelaide’s commitment to hire locally or bring talent back to Adelaide after gaining experience interstate.

“We’ve always known there’s wonderful creative talent in Adelaide. Every single creative we spoke with in our search proved this," TBWA Adelaide and Melbourne chief creative officer Paul Reardon says.

"Patrick and Mark showed such a keen interest for work in completely unexpected media channels. It was really exciting to hear the way they think. It’s also worth mentioning the support and encouragement we’ve received from the Adelaide creative community in making this hire has been awesome, and we really appreciate it.”

O'Reilly and Atherton both join the agency from KWP.

They will work on both local South Australian clients through the Adelaide office as well as having the opportunity to work on national clients through TBWA\Melbourne.

"The virtual operating model set up in 2018, crossing state borders, has been incredibly successful and as the agency continues to grow, we’re pleased to deepen our capabilities and open up further opportunities for local talent," TBWA Adelaide executive partner Joe Godsell says.

"We are thrilled to have Patrick and Mark joining our team. We look forward to seeing what they will add to our global collective."

TBWA Adelaide opened its doors in 2018 after winning the South Australian Tourism Commission creative account.
