Specsavers creative account in play

The Specsavers main creative account is in play, with McCann having to hold off competition from half of Melbourne.

The account is now understood to be at the shortlist stage with up to five agencies vying for the account.

It is thought that the list includes some independent agencies as well as the usual networked suspects.

Trinity P3 is managing the process.

The pitch follows a review of the brand's media arrangements last year, when incumbent MediaCom retained the business, estimated to be worth some $18m in main media spend.
